This economical little 3 bedroom passive house was designed as a home for the client’s aging mother. The single level design and level threshold detailing ensure that the house is fully accessible. The living spaces and bedrooms of the house are organised along the north side of the house looking out over a leafy gully, with the service spaces arranged along the rear, south side of the house. Care was taken to avoid unnecessary circulation and hallway spaces. The house is an exercise in getting the most out of a small footprint.
